Yeeeee its been a long time since my last post. Quite a lot has occured since then.

Last 2 weeks my daily schedule has been aproximately this: wake up at 11:00am-12:30, mom picks me up, drives me to a nice fancy hotel with my computer, I leech internet from hotel for about an hour or two, then go swimming, chill, then mom picks me up, and then I go and eat out at a restaurant. The irony of that being that this guy that is hopelessly in love with my mom (parents are divorced) pays all the bills. And she doesnt even like him as a man, he is just a casual friend.

Monotony of that schedule was crushed when Mom brought clients and their daughter to our house for dinner. The daughter, albeit not in prime athletic form, was very nice, and sort of quietly goodlooking, and intelligent. Not the famme-fatale combo, but I spent a good evening drinking lots of wine and talking to them all. Next day i went over to their hotel, spent the whole day with the daughter. In the evening, when we went up to shower in their parents room, went into the bathroom just when she had finished showering. Large make-out ensued, however my wits still being about, I managed to halt any further advances. phew.. not that I would have minded, but her Mom came in like 5 minutes later, and I have been having nightmares ever since of what would have happened if she had busted me. But ye, still pretty cool, "seduced" (haha) a girl in 1.5 days. yay me :)

Last few days have been more interesting than most. Mom brought me out shopping for stuff (dont have anything except for summerish clothes basically), got new glasses. Then 2 days ago I met up with this guy Petros, moms friend (and yes, most of moms friends tend to have a crush/be in love with her, lol :P) who let me scuba-dive for freee! :) first time. Was awwwwwwwwwesome. The two guys working there, Paul and Dan, are really cool, had a lot of fun with the whole thing. Had a second scuba diving session today, which was also great. Only thing being that there isnt much to see where we are here in cyprus, not much fish, no corals, etc.

But still great fun. Going to pick up scuba-diving in glasgow methinks.

Got accomodation at glasgow handled, albeit somewhat more expensive than I had hoped for. Going to be a fucking awesome living space though I bet. But yeah, we will see. If I like it enough I will just have to cut down on other things and rack in some decent money by getting a job of some sort. Going to be hard to juggle work, sports, studying and some semblance of a social life, but hopefully it will all work out :)

Paul and Dan said that Glasgow was a "rough" place, and were rather surprised when they heard I was going there. Yeee, fuck that, Im sure (I hope) that it will be great.

Leaving for Glasgow tomorrow, booked into a very nice hotel for a week. hope it will be nice.

Filled in all the uni stuff I needed, and by the looks of the brochures, Glasgow is more of a village than a university. Damn HUGE! Which is great, I look forward to it very much :)

Back!

Got back from the interrail at last! Damn, was a long 22 days :)

Had a great time overall, got to see many places, took a lot of pictures, which is irrelevant since my camera got lost :(

Writing a separate blog about interrailing, only done the first 9 days so far, but is available on interrailers2009.blogspot.com

Spending the next week or so at Nico's place (Nico is my best friend), then attending the annual beginning-of-the-school-year thingy at Herluf (the school I just graduated from), after which I am going to Scotland to prepare for University :)

Interrail

Well, Im flying to Denmark tomorrow, and leaving to the interrail.. Phew a lot of stuff been going on since last post... My dad sent my Mom a letter with our budget and plan, and my Mom FLIPPED because there were like, two eastern european destinations on the list.. Doesnt make much sense because f.x. Italy isnt exactly much safer then eastern european places, but I guess that objectivity isnt something to expect from a mother in a situation like this... Anyways, she was totally no-go on the trip for 3 days or so, but in the end she conceded.. After a very persuasive letter on my part :)

So the trip is on, made all the preparations, spend a whole day shopping for stuff (rucksack and stuff like that)

Now another problem has come up, one of our trio apparently wont be able to come due to money problems.. his mom just left the house and left for another country 3 days ago, and isnt answering his phone calls.. lol ... anyways im postponing telling my parents this for now, cos my mom is liable to completely cancel the trip if she finds out >.> like 3 people is more secure than 2.. it is to some extent I guess, but still :(

Well, first destination is Berlin, so going to look forward to that. Going to check out some cold war museums I think, and have a good time :) dont know how internet access will be for the duration of the trip, so will write in a notebook, and then maybe post some details of the trip here. Might make a separate interrail blog, will link it if I do :)

First Post :)

So, I am soon to embark upon a new stage of my life. Finished my IB (International Baccaleuriate) exams about a month ago, got my grades, got into Glasgow :)

Well, guess that since this is my first post, I should, at least symbolically, introduce myself. My name is Philip, I am as of the moment 17, and Im going to University this September. I love reading classical, sci-fi, and fantasy literature, and am a bit of a Rock music freak (Hence my pseudonym :P). Play guitar and sing a bit. For now I think thats enough :)

Im sitting now, at 3:48 a.m. at home at my computer... Contemplating what lays ahead. In around 10 days, Im going back to Denmark (My Dad lives in Riga, Latvia),
where Im meeting up with my two great friends, Greg and Nicolas. Together, we are going on a 20 day Interrail trip, which will be Legen... wait for it.. Dary :D
Planning to take tonnes of Pics and write down my experiences, which I will (hopefully) post here :)

After the trip, I'm going to Scotland, 2 weeks in advance of University, where I will study for 4 years, an undergraduate course in Politics and Economics. Looking forward tremendously, will be great studying things that actually interest me for a change (in school, 60-70% of what you do is kind of boring >.>)

There is a lot more to be said, but this is sort of an introductary post, and it IS a tiny bit late :D so yeah, Im going to bed now.
